I made a video on how to install the Japanese version of the original Resident Evil 2 from 1998 on your PC or laptop! This is the Biohazard 2 SourceNext version of the game! You also need this version if you wanna play the Akuma Mod that came out not too long ago. You will need to install the Biohazard 2 Sourcenext. You will have to find this on your own. It's pretty easy. Just look it up on your browser. Once you install it, you can go ahead and eject this installer. After that, you will need to type in Resident Evil 2 or Biohazard 2 Sourcenext Classic Rebirth. After that, you will need to go to the previous page and look for the Biohazard 2 Sourcenext 1.1.0 patch. Click on that and download the file. Go to your desktop and delete the shortcut for Biohazard 2 Sourcenext. Go back to the folder where your game is installed then copy the bios2 1.10 patch that you just place there. Go back to your desktop then right click and paste so that this becomes the new shortcut for your game. Go ahead and start the game by double clicking the shortcut on your desktop. A blue screen that says Windows protected your PC will show up. Click on More info text then click on the Run anyway button. Click OK on the next screen. Make some adjustments on the CONFIGURATION box next. For graphics, color scheme should be RGB888 and resolution should be 1280x960 or full screen. This game only supports the 4:3 aspect ratio and not 16:9. If you try to use 16:9, the game will look stretched. That aspect ratio only works for fully 3D games and not on games with prerendered background still images like this game. For gameplay, check Enable Quickturn. For gamepad, I chose XInput for my input method to match my gamepad. If your gamepad or controls are different then you can change that if you want. Check on Texture filtering if you want. It's optional. Check Enable Sound and Stereo. Check Enable movies to activate the cutscenes if you want. Check Always boot in configure mode if you want to always see this CONFIGURATION box every time you start the game. If you uncheck this then your game will start and automatically skip this box. I didn't mess with vibration because I don't like it. Once you're done with all the settings, go ahead and click on OK to start the game. Since this is the Japanese version of Resident Evil 1998, the subtitles will be in Japanese but the voice audio will still be in English. Once you're in the game, you can make some adjustments in the option menu. You can map the controls on the KEYCONFIG, check the monitor tuning and sound. To play the Akuma mod, download it. This trailer surprised me! It just came out of nowhere! I've been asking for a remaster of the Legacy of Kain series similar to what Crystal Dynamics did for the Tomb Raider I-III Remastered Starring Lara Croft not too long ago! I'm glad that my prayers and fans wish have finally been answered! It seems we're getting a remaster of Soul Reaver 1 and 2 with new textures and probably higher resolutions! They should add the option to toggle between the original graphics and textures to the remastered one. I hope that they add more options in the graphics menu so that you can adjust the anti-aliasing, texture quality, ray tracing, graphics quality, display mode settings, VRAM usage, etc. I hope that they also add ray tracing detail to these games to make them look really good with the lighting! They should achievements and trophies to these remastered games. Also, I hope that someday they also remaster Blood Omen Legacy of Kain, Blood Omen 2 and Legacy of Kain Defiance. I wish that these will eventually lead to a brand new Legacy of Kain game! Make that at least three new Legacy of Kain or Soul Reaver games! I'm just happy with this announcement. I made another fix and how to video tutorial. I made this video fix so that you will be able to start and launch Lost Planet 2 on you PC. This is for the Steam version. You'll have to buy a Steam Key for Lost Planet 2 somewhere else. There's several websites out there where you can buy Steam keys. After you download and install the game from Steam, you have to install two things on your PC or laptop. The first one that you gotta install is the xliveredist and the other one is the gfwlclient. Once you've done that, you should see a window that ask you to log in with your Windows Live ID and password. Type in your Xbox username on the Windows Live ID and then your password. It should work as long as your password only has 16 characters or less. If your password is longer than 16 characters, it won't work for some reason. I don't know why. After that, you should see a small screen asking you to update. Go ahead and choose yes to apply the update. If you get logged out then change your password to 16 characters or less and then try logging in after that. Try starting Lost Planet 2 again and it should start working. It seems you must have a certain version installed before the game will boot. I encountered the game not launching issue and tried a few different gfwl versions before I got it to work. Here is how: Download: http://download.gfwl.xboxlive.com/content/gfwl-public/redists/production/xliveredist.msi and http://download.gfwl.xboxlive.com/content/gfwl-public/redists/production/gfwlclient.msi and create an Xbox account if you do not have one: https://www.xbox.com/en-US/live Install both the client and the redistributable. The game should now launch. Once you are in you must sign-in with an Xbox account. The gfwl client will update once and ask you to restart the game. Do this. Once you restart, sign-in again and it will update the game's files and ask you to restart the game once more. From this point just sign into your account and you will be good to go. I made a simple fix on the Steam PC version of Bayonetta. I noticed that some people have been getting issues with the game. The game lags and when starting the game it just runs bad. I don't know why PlatinumGames didn't patch this game for PC. All you really need to do is go to the options menu after starting the game for the first time. After going inside options, find graphics. Find Display Mode and change that to Borderless or Windowed. For some reason, fullscreen makes the game lag. Somehow, changing it to Borderless fixed the lag for me. You can also change the graphics options like the resolutions, anti-aliasing, graphics quality, etc. in the Graphics section inside Options. If you also wanna change the subtitles go to the Display Settings inside Options. You can change the Subtitle Language and the Voice Language. You gotta do this before you start the game because for some reason you can't change this during gameplay. Once, you're done with this part, save it and then start the game to test it out. You can go back to this options again if it doesn't work. Have fun! I made a video on how to add funds to your PlayStation account. You can use this method to buy games on your PS3 aka PlayStation 3 fat version or slim version. That's because Sony no longer allows you to buy games directly on the PS3. You have to add funds to your account using a browser like Opera GX, google chrome, Firefox, etc. You can also add funds to your account using your PS4 and PS5 and then use the funds on your PS3 after adding it on your other consoles. I also checked the PSN store in my PS3 to see if it still works. Some games have already been removed and delisted there but there's still tons of games that's available to grab. Not too long ago, there was an issue with linking your Steam account with your YouTube account. If you wanted to share your YouTube gaming videos on Steam, you had to somehow wait at midnight Pacific Time or 2 am Central Time. It was annoying. There was a small window of time when you can share your videos. They finally fixed that issue so you can pretty much link your YouTube channel with your Steam account to share your videos anytime. I checked out the newer Xbox website where you can buy Xbox, Xbox 360, Xbox One games and newer Xbox Series S/X games. Here's the link to the website. https://www.xbox.com/en-US?xr=mebarnav Here's the link to where you can browse and buy backwards compatible games from the original Xbox, Xbox 360 and Xbox One era. https://www.xbox.com/en-us/games/backward-compatibility?xr=shellnav Not all of the games are there but there's a lot of games available there for you to grab. There's also free games, add-ons and DLCs available if you wanna grab those too. The games you buy from the Xbox website will automatically show up in your Xbox 360 console after you turn it on and logged in with the same account that you use to buy games from the Xbox website. You can also redownload games in your account and download history buy choosing them from your Xbox 360 console. You need internet to do all of these things though. I also show the new look of the Xbox 360 dashboard after the older Xbox marketplace closed. The new dashboard looks so empty and barren. Lots of games are lost there and were never put in the backwards compatible list so that's a sad day. Lots of games were already delisted in the past so yeah. You can still play the games that you've downloaded and also update those games when you play them. You can also play the discs or digital games and get the achievements. After you sync them online, you can show your achievements on the trueachievements website. So you can still do all that. You can check your achievements on the trueachievements website. That's where I keep track of my achievements. Just create an account there and put in your Xbox username.
