Bitcoin right now is at its highest at $32,000 per Bitcoin. Those who have invested and bought a lot of Bitcoin when it was just at its infancy are pretty much rich right now if they were smart about their Bitcoin. One guy Stefan Thomas, a German programmer based in San Francisco, has lost his Bitcoin password. As per a report in New York Times, Thomas was given 7002 Bitcoins back in 2011 which is now worth $245 million, or almost Rs 1,800 crore. That is some serious cash right there. It's sad that he lost his Bitcoin. If only I knew about Bitcoin earlier back in the 2010s then I would have bought a thousand of those when it was still selling for a few bucks back then. Oh, well. I don't think that Bitcoin will replace fiat currency anytime soon but I think that it is the start of this new blockchain system. I think that this is just the beginning of a new form of money that will someday be the replacement for fiat currency. We are already using digital money with debit and credit cards so it isn't anything new. The difference is that cryptocurrency doesn't use a bank because you can be your own bank and you hold all the cash as long as you don't lose or forget your password or Bitcoin wallet. There is also Ethereum which is another big cryptocurrency worth about $1,200 per Ether. There's plenty of other cryptocurrency out there on the market cap. What do you guys think of Bitcoin?
