The game came out 3 days ago on September 17, 2013! I haven't really played the game yet but I really want to so bad! According to its reception, the game has received universal acclaim from critics and fans worldwide! GameRankings and Metacritic gave the PS3 version a 97.17% and 97/100 and the XBox 360 version 96.95% and 98/100! Many reviewers praised the story, characters, presentation and open world gameplay. I can't really judge the game as I haven't played it myself but according to game footage and trailers I'm pretty much sold. I won't be able to play it any time soon but hopefully someday or soon. This new take on this awesome open world action-adventure video game developed by Rockstar North and published by Rockstar Games. The game is the fifteenth in the Grand Theft Auto series of games. If you're familiar with free open world sandbox games then this is the game for you if not then oh well. If you've played those type of games then you know the formula already of controlling a character in the third person perspective. You do story driven quests for the main story but are also free to do crap tons of side questing and all kinds of craziness from playing mini games like tennis, racing hunting, treasure hunting, and so many more crap jammed into this game. The game's map of Los Santos which is the area you explore is bigger than the previous Grand Theft Auto titles. You can pretty much go on foot, car, trucks, semis, (several other cars) boat, planes, military vehicles, tanks, jets, etc. in this huge game! You get to play as three characters rather than one which is a new way of playing the game. You will be able to switch from Michael, Trevor, and Franklin. These three are criminals whose stories interconnect as they complete missions. You can switch from one person to another on the fly so you can see what the other characters are up to and control them on the spot! This makes the game broader in scope and scale! You can either go with the main quests or sidequests and go around doing some craziness like its always done on open world games. You're pretty much playing something like the Sims but on steroids and you get to jack vehicles and aircrafts while going up in the ladder of money, power, and fame! This game will once again set the bar on open world games and show people how it's done! Besides the main game there is also the multiplayer Online which will become available on October 1, 2013 and Rockstar said that they will continue to develop content for the service after it launches! This will make the game even better since the multiplayer online will be like a separate game mode and adds additional content to the entirety of the game!
