First of all I just wanna say that I'm not really that familiar with the Guardians of the Galaxy comics. I've seen Rocket Raccoon before as a playable character in Ultimate Marvel vs. Capcom 3. He doesn't look as cute in this movie but I'm assuming it's the same character. I'm getting a Starfox vibe whenever I see Rocket but I know that they're different characters in two different franchises and fanbases but they're both talking animals. Well, let's look at the characters. We have Chris Pratt who plays as Peter Quill aka Star-Lord and the leader of the Guardians of the Galaxy. They're all basically a team of rogues, thieves, criminals, etc. Zoe Saldana (she played as Neytiri in James Cameron's Avatar) plays as the green skinned Gamora who in the description says is the adopted daughter of Thanos. Woah! They mean Thanos as in the purple skinned Titan who wields the Infinity Gauntlet and could possibly be the next villain in the next Avengers movie! If you saw the ending of the Avengers movie then you'll see Thanos at the end make an appearance. If you still want more info then you could say he's the DC Comics equivalent to Darkseid one of Superman's most powerful enemies and villain in the DC Universe. Well, let's get back to Guardians of the Galaxy. We have Dave Bautista (WWE wrestler) play Drax the Destroyer. Drax according to what I've read was a former human named Arthur who's family was killed by Thanos and he wants revenge so his body was place in a new powerful body by the being Kronos. We then have Vin Diesel (XXX, The Fast and Furious franchise) play as Groot who is this tree-like humanoid and Rocket Raccoon's accomplice. And of course, I already mentioned Rocket Raccoon played by Bradley Cooper who is this genetically engineered raccoon and an expert marksman with guns! Pew pew MURICA FUCK YEAH! So basically Star-Lord steals an orb coveted by the villain Ronan and now they're in chase to go after the Guardians. It so happens that the orb Star-Lord stole has incredible cosmic power that has the entire galaxy's fate in the balance or something like that. He must now team up with the other four to form the Guardian's of the Galaxy. Well, it seems like a good action-adventure movie with sci-fi and fantasy elements. It is the Marvel Universe after all. What do you think? Will this movie deliver as the Avengers did or will it just be another superhero movie riding along the waves of space from other superhero movies.
