This was a blog that I originally made back on February 4, 2014 at 12:10 AM.
Once again we hear the latest news about the new Ninja Turtles reboot. I won't be putting the pics here but you can look it up by typing it in the google search bar for yourself if you wanna know more. Well, the only thing that I can say as being a fan of the 80s cartoon TMNT series is that the franchise have gone through many changes if you look at all the cartoons, movies, live action, and video game related media to it. We can agree that the original take on the turtles was very dark, gritty, and pretty violent when you look at the original comic it was base on created by Kevin Eastman and Peter Laird. After all is said and done will this new Ninja Turtles reboot or remake or whatever it is be able to deliver and actually do a good job with the story and do the series justice? I've seen other franchises made a turn for the worst and thus cause their downfall by straying too far from the original source material. This will either make or break the series and not give it the proper respect it deserves. As far as I've heard Michael Bay is only producing the film and is being directed by Jonathan Liebesman. Of course, the original writers Kevin and Peter are also involve with the movie so fans can all calm down and take a breather. My only problem is that I hope the focus is not too much on the humans like in the live action Transformers and more on the Turtles. One can only hope and wait. Of course not everyone will be please with everything. There will always be backlash in a small scale or large scale by fans and newcomers. There's also the critics waiting to give their thoughts and score it according to their taste and preferences. According to what I saw though, it looks intriguing but coming to a conclusion is too soon so I'll keep checking later if more news and info are revealed.
