Street Fighter Assassin's Fist Is Getting A Sequel On Late 2015 or Early 2016 After Capcom Announce

This was a blog that I originally made back on July 28, 2014 at 4:50 PM.

New news regarding the Street Fighter Assassin's Fist has been announced! It appears that Capcom who is involved with the Street Fighter Assassin's Fist crew has said that the series will be getting a sequel series! So that means more episodes will be created and released next year late 2015 or early 2016. Joey Ansah is returning to write and direct "Street Fighter: World Warrior" to bow in late 2015 or early 2016. Ansah will be returning with Christian Howard (Ken), Mike Moh (Ryu), Gaku Space (Goki), etc. Capcom announced this news on the San Diego Comic Con panel this Friday July 25, 2014. "We demonstrated with 'Assassin's Fist' that an authentic, live-action version of videogames, with a compelling and dramatic storyline, can be made," said series producer Jacqueline Quella. "We'll be taking the same approach with the new series." The plan for this new "World Warrior" series will be based of Street Fighter 2 games which is the most popular of all the Street Fighter franchise and what everyone is familiar with. Characters like Guile, Chun-Li, Sagat, M. Bison (the psycho powered powerful dictator), etc. "The scale of 'World Warrior' is much larger, picking up where 'Assassin's Fist' left off as we follow Ryu and Ken on their 'Musha Shugyo' (warrior's pilgrimage)," Ansah said. "The Shadaloo criminal cartel will be introduced, led by the extremely dangerous M.Bison, which will naturally lead into the World Warrior tournament," in which fan favorites Guile, Chun-li, Sagat will play a significant role. "There are some big and primal themes which we'll be exploring in the sequel," said producer Mark Wooding. "It will be thrilling and naturally, as befits the game, the fights will be epic, but it will be driven by the characters, their stories, faults and problems. It will be a dark tale." "We are delighted to be working again with the team that did such an excellent job with 'Street Fighter: Assassins Fist," said Matt Dahlgren, associate director of brand marketing at Capcom. "The response to it has been amazing, and working with filmmakers who are so passionate about the game is an extremely rewarding process." This is quite exciting as this will expand the Street Fighter Assassin's Fist universe like in the games and further introduce us to the rest of the characters and the areas and landscape will be bigger as well! We know that since Ryu and Ken will be traveling on their warrior's pilgrimage they will encounter fighters of all sorts! It will be quite interesting to see how they'll interact with the likes of Guile, Chun-Li, Sagat, M. Bison, etc.! I am looking forward to this! Oh, man! Hype time! This will be first time we'll see Sagat, Chun-Li, M. Bison, etc. in live action since that Street Fighter Van Damme movie they were portrayed on! I wonder who will be cast? I read somewhere that Ansah wants to cast English martial artist and actor Scott Adkins to play as Guile which is awesome! The question now is who will play the others? I just hope they make M. Bison really intimidating and quite powerful since he possess that telekinetic like psycho powers in addition to being a powerful fighter as well. I want M. Bison to be like how he was portrayed in Street Fighter 2 The Animated movie! Man, he was quite a beast in that one!
